We have been busy working on churches! Below is St. Hilary Church in Tiburon, where we have undertaken an extensive giding project. Pictured is gilder and faux artist Stephen Kallai.

Arrgh! This young boy, now a pirate on his ship, wanted a seafaring mural on his bed room walls:

Here, a friendly, sparkling dolphin frolicks nearby!

BEFORE: Here is the “before” shot. Next week we will faux finish the white fireplace mantle to look like matching limestone.

AFTER: Voila! Here is the “after” shot. The white mantle has now magically become limestone.

Below: This San Francisco dining room had white woodwork that was wood grained by our crew to look like cherry wood, for a striking effect! Go to our website to see the other half of this photo, which appeared in Architectural Digest: www.MastersTouchFaux.com.

This week we painted a couple of murals in the bed rooms of two young boys. One boy wanted a sports room, his brother wanted an army room.

Below are some underwater images we painted in the bed room of brand new twin boys. We can design a mural to fit your mood and your budget, with as much or as little artwork as you desire to complement the other items in your decor.

Adding a painted finish to a cabinet really makes a difference. The cabinet below is jam-packed with children’s videos, a TV, DVD player, and VCR, but to look at it one just sees an elegant piece of painted furniture—beautiful in any room!

Above is a cute bunny we painted on a client’s wall for her young daughter who was born in the Year of the Rabbit! He cheerfully munches a four-leaf clover in a field of beautiful yellow tulips.
Below: For her son, who is into space exploration, we painted a glow-in-the-dark galaxy and planets on the walls, including this one of Mother Earth.

This week we are lazure painting walls for a client in her home in Corte Madera. We will also be doing some fine art in a bath room in another client’s home.

Our client told us she wanted something simple on her young daughter’s light blue walls and asked what we could do in about five hours–voila, her walls are now a beautiful sky with soft clouds floating by.
